Have you heard Britney’s latest single on radio? Some stations preface the song with a promo recorded by Spears where she proclaims “It’s Britney, bitch”. Funny stuff.

Spears will be performing her her new single ‘Gimme More’ at the MTV awards. She will apparently be collaborating with illusionist Criss Angel to make it visually appealing.

The executive producer of the show, Jesse Ignjatovic, said, “I guess, looking back, we’ve had a great history with her. Some of the biggest TV performances (of her career) have been at the VMA’s. And fortunately, she was into it and excited to do it. I wanted her to come on and make a statement right from the very beginning of the show. And she’ll kill it.”

The awards will be held at the Palms Casino Resorts’ Pearl Concert Theater and will air on September 9th (and about 200 more times on replay between then and next year).
